2011 Registration FAQ

Do I have to register online?

Yes, PTA registration is only available online. Please complete the registration process prior to attending registration day. Public libraries have free Internet access available to you. We will also have computers available on registration day if needed.

I created a registration account, now what?

You will receive a confirmation email to the address you listed. Once you receive this email you can click on the link to activate your new account and finish registration. Please be sure to check your spam and trash folders if you email doesn't show up within 5 minutes of creating your account. If you still don't have the email please contact us at liveoakpta@gmail.com. The Live Oak PTA is lucky to be one of three SRVUSD schools participating in this new registration service and we will contact tech support on your behalf as soon as possible. '

*Please note, we have heard from a few Hotmail users that there have been at times significant delays in receiving your activation email.  The activation email are sometimes showing up in the spam folder immediately or after a significant delay.  We are aware of the issue, but because it appears to be a hotmail issue, we cannot solve it.  If your activation email takes longer than you would like to wait, an alternate option is to use a gmail or yahoo or some other kind of email account.

Is my payment secure? 

Yes, the website was developed by the Live Oak PTA for its sole use. The website uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption when transmitting information to protect your information and all data collected is stored securely for Live Oak Elementary School purposes only.

How do I get into the Express Line?

Complete your online PTA registration and online spirit wear order. Bring printed copies of your confirmation (will be emailed to you) as well as LO Ed Fund paperwork and school forms. We expect the Express Line to cut wait times by 20 minutes or more. 

Do I need a Pay Pal Account to register online?

No account is required; you can check out as a guest using your Visa within PayPal. Check payments will be accepted during walk thru registration (but those paying by check cannot use the express line). 

Can someone else register my child on registration day?

Yes, you can send someone to registration day on your behalf. They will need to bring your printed district forms, confirmation page and payments with them. Be sure to send an extra check in case of mistakes. If you are unable to print out the confirmation page for your representative we can print it for them on registration day. 

Can I make changes to my registration? 

Yes, you can return anytime and login to your account to make changes. Just be sure to complete your registration prior to attending Registration Day.
