What is Run  for Education?

The Run for Education is a tradition in the San Ramon Valley spanning 40 years and is the primary fundraising activity for SRVEF and the community event in the San Ramon Valley that includes participants, volunteers and spectators from all 35 San Ramon Valley Unified School District (SRVUSD) schools, representing the communities of Alamo, Danville and San Ramon. The Run for Education is also the largest run that supports education in Northern California.

Where is the Run  going to take place?

The 10K run starts at Charlotte Wood Middle School, in Danville, and the 5K starts on Camino Ramon, near 2700 Camino Ramon, across from City Center Bishop Ranch

Who can participate in this Run?

Your entire family! The Run for Education includes events for the youngest runners ages 2-6 - the Mini Run! We also have the Friendship Run for students with special needs and their supporters. These events will all take place on Sunday, October 8th during our Expo for Education at 2700 Camino Ramon (BR 2700) in San Ramon, after the 5K and 10K events.

Why should I sign up for the Run for Education?

Every registration automatically generates a fundraising page. By sharing your personal page with family and friends, every participant can raise money that directly supports LIVE OAK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. This will help give our school another revenue stream to supplement your existing efforts.

All revenue raised via personal fundraising pages will be split as follows:

Donation processing fees are subtracted from total donations for the purpose of calculating revenue sharing. All funds raised on fundraising team pledge pages that do not specify a SRVUSD school will be considered donations to SRVEF. SRVEF funds District-wide initiatives that benefit all students.

When should I sign up for the Run?

NOW! Registration is open.
