Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week
May 8-12, 2023
Thank you for participating in Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week! Our superhero teachers and staff appreciated the week-long celebration that included a special breakfast, a fresh fruit frenzy, Jamba Juice smoothies, catered lunch (Hula Wok), and delicious desserts.
A huge thank you to Origami Restaurant (San Ramon), Limitless Axes (Pleasanton), Jeanna Aydelotte, Pinot’s Palette (Livermore), Beau & Bella Salon, Row House, (Pleasanton), Warren Paylado, and Trader Joe's (San Ramon) for their generous support of our Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week. Thanks also to Den 8 scouts (Emily, Vaishnavi, Shifra, Arshi, Annabelle, Taryn, Corinne) for their posters celebrating our superhero staff.
Spring Book Fair

Thank you Live Oak Families for participating in Book Fair and making it a very successful event.
Our Family Night and Book signing event was very exciting with so many kids and families participation. Congratulations to Mrs. Freels on the publication of her second book and wishing her many more to come.
Thank you Ms.Legate and Shyamala J for taking the lead, Jane K, Lili S, Neetu A, Debalina D, Radhika K, Swetha P, Priya T, Soumya M and Sudha I, for volunteering and making this event a grand success!
International Dance Party

Live Oak PTA thanks each and everyone for gracing the occasion with your presence and dancing the evening with us! This event would not be possible without the support of Mrs.Dobel and our backbone of PTA - Parent Volunteers!

SPRING BOOK CLUB

We have just wrapped up our last book club for this academic year. Thanks to all the book club volunteers Shyamala Jayaraman, Seema Vishnupurikar, Anum Bashir, Rajani Yadav, Vanessa Hangad, Sapna Ramanan and special thanks to book club chair Shilpy Kapoor and Mrs. LeGate for helping us with the book club books.
Talent Show

The Live Oak’s Got Talent Show was a HUGE HIT with outstanding performances and a houseful of audience ! A big shout out to all the brave students who showcased their amazing talents! Thank you Sri Sudha P and Dharshana E for leading the efforts and bringing Talent Show to Live Oak. And a HUGE Thank you to all volunteers and parents for making the event a grand success. Looking forward to many more in the future.
Family Bowling

Sister School Toy Drive

Cal High leadership students and Cal High PTSA wants to thank all of you who donated toys for our sister school during the winter Toy drive. The Live Oak Sister school chair did a wonderful job helping us to make this a successful event. The K-6th Michelle Obama Elementary School students were delighted with the interaction with high school students, the cookie decorating activities, and all the toys. Thank you!
